HIS is a design firm specializing in residential. It operates under the leadership of Rafael Tapia. The primary focus being homes, interiors and development. The direction of each project is led by the foundation set in the design and the focus is to maintain design intent with our builder partners – taking the idea from design to reality.

Work to develop design aesthetic – HIS offers curated design styles + home plans to select from our stable or we simply follow our process and engage to create a unique shelter with purpose.
Materials – carefully select palette and establish the direction. Engaging nature through the process by the playful use of raw materials. A thoughtful approach ensures the inhabited shelter stays true to what we all inherently yearn for – to enjoy the environment around us and experience the calm that nature brings.
